Our Team

Nadine Campbell-Fuller BSc (Hons), MSc, C.Psychol AFBPsS HCPC Registered & Chartered Forensic Psychologist

Nadine is a Chartered Psychologist and Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society. Nadine holds professional registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), as a Registered Practitioner Psychologist.

Nadine is the CEO and Director of Insight Forensic Psychology Service Ltd. Nadine is proficient in conducting risk assessments with violent and sexually violent offenders and has over 20 years of training and practice, as a previous employee of HM Prisons and Probation Services and as an independent practitioner in private practice. Nadine has undertaken training and has demonstrated her competence in a range of structured risk assessment tools. Nadine is highly competent in the assessment of personality disorder, psychopathy, autism, and learning disability.

As a trained practitioner, Nadine is trained in and understands the importance of Reflective Practice and is instrumental in the delivery of this to various groups and organisations. Nadine provides lead therapy support to ‘The Safety Box®’ Programme, a holistic personal development approach to changing the lives of BAME individuals within the community and custodial setting. Nadine is an active member of GLOW Ltd, a network of professionals who aim to support the well-being of others, empowering them with skills and resources to improve their personal circumstances – the ethos being ‘Giving Life Others Want’.

Jane Fisher - Business Manager

Jane joined us in 2023 and holds the position of Business Manager for Insight FPS.  Jane has nearly forty years office experience and has specialised in freelance finance and business administration services for the past sixteen years.  Although working in different industries for a number of clients, Jane’s main area of expertise is within the Forensic Psychology profession, with in excess of ten years experience in this field. 

Jane is central to the company and manages all aspects of the business – the gel that holds everything together!

Bal Sanderson (She/Her) BSc (Hons), MSc, C.Psychol AFBPsS BPS Chartered and HCPC Registered Forensic Psychologist

Bal is a Forensic Psychologist, registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and Chartered with the British Psychological Society (BPS). She has worked in forensic settings since 2008, including NHS high and medium secure hospitals, HM Prison Service and community settings. Bal has extensive experience of preparing parole reports for complex cases involving the full range of offending behaviours. In addition, she has thorough knowledge of cognitive difficulties, personality disorder, substance misuse, mental health issues and trauma. Bal is able to provide the full range of legal assessments for adults in family and criminal law.

Dr Breege Duffy BSc (Hons) MSc DForenPsych CPsychol AFBPsS HCPC Registered & Chartered Forensic Psychologist/Occupational Psychologist

Breege has considerable experience providing psychological services across different client groups and within medium and low secure settings for adult males and females. She has previous experience of providing vocational rehabilitation consultancy services and support to employers and clients with mental health needs, advising on appropriate interventions and facilitating return to work.

Emily Pearson, BSc (Hons), MSc, C. Psychol AFBPsS HCPC Registered & Chartered Forensic Psychologist

Emily has worked within the Criminal Justice System and field of forensic psychology for over 20 years. This has included acting as a psychologist professional witness across various settings, as well as delivering offending behaviour interventions. Her roles have also included providing guidance, support and direction to other professionals and teams in relation to their practice, clinical issues and wellbeing.

 

Dr Faye Horsley BSc (Hons) MSc DForenPsych CPsychol AFBPsS HCPC Registered & Chartered Forensic Psychologist

Dr Faye Horsley is Registered as a Forensic Psychologist with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). She is a Chartered member of the British Psychological Society (BPS), and is an Associate Fellow of the BPS. Faye has 20 years of experience working in prison and secure hospital settings with people who have criminal convictions. As a practitioner, Faye specialises in the assessment of violent offenders and, particularly, firesetters, as well as people with mental disorders. Alongside her practitioner role, Faye is an academic and has Senior Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy (HEA). Faye has ten years of research expertise in fire use and firesetting. She has a Ph.D from Durham University with a thesis entitled Arson Reconceptualised: the Continuum of Fire Use, and multiple publications in peer-reviewed journals. Faye has also published book chapters and released her first book in 2022 entitled New Perspectives on Arson and Firesetting: the Human-Fire Relationship. 

Glen Meaden BSc, AMHP & BIA Social Work England, Social Care Wales, British Association of Social Workers (BASW)

* Consultant for local authorities, CCG’s and 3rd sector organisations.

As an Independent Social Worker, trainer and consultant, Glen undertakes Independent Social Work reports and assessments for local authorities, solicitors and other non-statutory organisations. Glen’s expertise is his focus on specific areas of legislation and policy to compile comprehensive reports and assessments. Glen is passionate about providing recommends for positive outcomes for individuals, their families and organisations. Glen provides consultancy for local authorities, third sector/private organisations and families. Support is also provided directly to social workers to undertake comprehensive needs-led and risk assessments.

Statutory and non-statutory organisations have benefitted from Glen’s training modules, which cover complex social, environmental and sensory needs, including:  Working with Personality Disorders, Hoarding and Self-neglect, Risk-Assessing, Role of the Appropriate Adult, Introduction to Bi-polar Disorder and Schizophrenia.

Glen has extensive experience working across learning disability and mental health services, including comprehensive assessments for adults with a diagnosis of autism and other associated conditions.  Glen is a Panel member for Diverse Fostering UK and Visiting Lecturer at Birmingham City University.

Hannah Hayward

Spanning over two decades, Hannah’s extensive work in neurodiversity covers training, diagnosis, research, support and education. She is highly experienced in delivering gold-standard clinical assessments of adults, adolescents, and children. She sees individuals and their families through the NHS, within the criminal justice system, and privately.

She completed her PhD with King’s College London in 2023, on providing a better understanding of sex differences and similarities in autism spectrum conditions. 

Since 2012, Hannah has delivered neurodiversity psycho-educational workshops with male and female offenders across UK prisons, across a range of workplaces (both public and private sector), and for the charity sector. Hannah has dedicated herself to this field and tirelessly advocates for increased public understanding and greater well-being of all neurodivergent people.

Lovedeep Rai BSc, MSc, Dclinipsych HCPC Registered Clinical Psychologist

Dr Lovedeep Rai is a Senior Clinical Psychologist and the Dual Diagnosis lead in the NHS with over ten years of experience of working in a mental health setting. Dr Rai obtained a First-class degree in Psychology with Cognitive Neuroscience. She then completed her MSc in Psychological Research at Leicester University, followed by her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology at the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology and Neuroscience, King’s College London.

 

Dr Rai has significant experience of working with young children and adolescent population alongside their families. She has experience in assessment and treatment of the mental health needs of children, young people and adults displaying complex emotional (including depression, stress, low self-esteem, emotional dysregulation, anxiety, Obsessive – Compulsive Disorder, and phobias), behavioural, and relational difficulties.

 

Dr Rai is a culturally sensitive practitioner that works within a person-centred and trauma informed framework providing a safe, collaborative, and supportive environment for her clients to explore and develop a shared understanding of their feelings, thoughts and patterns in relationships. Dr Rai is experienced in several evidence-based psychological therapies including CBT, DBT, ACT, CFT, motivational interviewing, and trauma focused therapies including TF-CBT, Narrative Exposure Therapy, and EMDR. Dr Rai is also trained in providing specialist neuropsychological assessments including cognitive assessments and other diagnostic assessments for Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder.

 

Dr Rai’s specialist interests include complex trauma, personality disorders, identity, neurodiversity, understanding the trajectory of mental health difficulties using the Intersectionality and Social GRACES framework. She has also published in international peer reviewed journals and lectures on the MSc course at King’s College London. 

Dr Malinder K. Bhullar (she/her), BPsych, DPsych, CPsychol HCPC Registered & BPS Chartered Psychologist (UK) Board Registered Psychologist (Australia)

Malinder has over 20 years international experience working in NHS forensic mental health, criminal justice, the independent healthcare sector and in private practice. She is passionate about meaningfully managing the impact of trauma on personal and professional lives, and working with people who have struggled with feeling “different”.  Malinder has lived experience of autism and has a keen interest in the development and application of psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy. 

Dr Michelle Carr BSc (Hons), MSc, DForenPsych C.Psychol, EuroPsy, AFBPsS, CSci, PGCE, FHEA Consultant Forensic Psychologist HCPC Registered & BPS Chartered

Dr Michelle Carr is a Consultant Forensic Psychologist who has over a decade of experience of working with offenders in forensic settings, including the Offender Personality Disorder Pathway in prison and probation, as well as medium and low secure psychiatric hospitals across the UK. Michelle has also completed a period of practice within New Zealand which has afforded the development of deeper cultural awareness within the practice of forensic psychology.

Michelle holds a Bachelor’s degree in psychology; a Master’s degree in Applied Forensic Psychology and a professional Doctorate in Forensic Psychology. She is registered with the Health and Care Professionals Council [HCPC] as a Practitioner Psychologist; chartered with the British Psychological Society [BPS] as a Forensic Psychologist and in 2018 was awarded associate fellowship status  [AFBPSs]. Furthermore, Michelle is an affiliate member of the Division of Forensic Psychology [DFP], a professional body within the BPS.

In addition to this, Michelle has obtained the European Certificate in Psychology [EuroPsy] and has achieved the title of Chartered Scientist [CSci]. She has been awarded certificates of competencies relating to occupational, personality and forensic  testing. More specifically, Michelle is trained in a number of structured assessment tools focussing on risk, personality and mental disorder. Most recently she has received training in facilitation of reflective practice from the Tavistock and Portman Clinic.

Nichola Crawford BSc (Hons), MSc, C.Psychol BPS Chartered and HCPC Registered Forensic Psychologist

Nichola is a Chartered Forensic Psychologist and Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society. She holds professional registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) as a Registered Psychologist Practitioner.

Nichola has worked with a forensic population across inpatient and community settings, as well as an independent practitioner providing psychological risk assessment reports to HMPPS. She has established 20 years experience of training to qualified practice, conducting robust risk assessments with a range of offender types and delivering evidence based offence focused interventions. In addition to assessing offenders, she has completed training in clinical treatment approaches suitable for mental health and personality disorders, learning disability, and trauma related disorders. Nichola has specialised in domestic abuse and the assessment and treatment of Intimate Partner Violence, and her main area of interest is trauma informed practice.

In addition to her forensic roles, Nichola also provides psychological therapy in clinical settings for a range of presenting psychological issues.

Dr Sarah Laulik, BSc, MSc, D.Foren.Psy, C.Psychol HCPC Registered & Chartered Forensic Psychologist

Sarah has significant experience undertaking forensic assessments and currently provides independent expert evidence in family, criminal law cases and for the Parole Board.  She has previously worked in two forensic medium secure mental health settings assessing and treating individuals with complex complex histories, including personality disorder, mental illness, intellectual disability and neurodevelopmental disorder. 

 Sarah’s main clinical and research interests are in the area of attachment style, personality disorder and their relationship to family dysfunction and offending behaviour.

Sarah Noakes BSc ( Hons), BPhil (DipSW), MSc, BPS Charted and HCPC Registers Forensic Psychologist

Sarah has a long history of working with offenders, initially as a Probation Officer before retraining as a Forensic Psychologist.  

Sarah has spent time working in the British and Australian Prison systems specialising in sex offender treatment, as well as developing an interest in Forensic Mental Health working in medium and low secure units. Over the last few years this latter interest has led to stepping out of the forensic setting to work within acute mental health.

Sharon Jones, BSc (Hons), MSc, C.Psychol, AFBPsP Consultant Forensic Psychologist HCPC Registered Forensic Psychologist BPS Chartered Psychologist

Sharon is a Chartered Psychologist and Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society and also a Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) Registered Forensic Psychologist. Sharon has worked within the field of forensic psychology for over eighteen years, in a range of forensic, community and inpatient settings, working with individuals who present with a range of complex presentations which include personality disorder, learning disability, neurodiversity and acute and severe mental illness.

Sharon is also employed as the Head of Psychology / Consultant Forensic Psychologist in a private hospital based in Hertfordshire, which provides acute and psychiatric intensive care, medium and low secure forensic services and locked and open rehabilitation services. She further holds a Part Time position as a Lecturer in Forensic Psychology at Queen Mary University in London, delivering teaching on the Forensic Psychology and Mental Health MSc Programme.

Sharon is trained and experienced in a range of psychological risk assessments, to include general, sexual, and intimate partner violence risk. She is also experienced in the use of a range of psychological measures which assess Personality Disorder, Psychopathy, Cognitive Functioning / Capacity, and Autism. Sharon also has extensive experience of the preparation of Psychological Risk Assessment reports for the Parole Board, to include providing expert witness evidence.

Zola Campbell, BSc (Hons), PgDip, MSc BACP registered Psychotherapist

Specialist Field:

*Sexual Trauma including Historical Child sexual abuse.

Zola is an experienced and fully registered Psychotherapist. She creates warm, caring, and confidential spaces that enable clients to feel safe, valued and heard by her as shes walk alongside them as they face the difficulties that have brought them to therapy. Zola is passionate about what she does because she knows good emotional health improves overall health.
